The Club

The Bowmen of Warfield is an English archery club. Our club was formed in 1963 in the village of Warfield but is now located in Binfield, Bracknell, Berkshire, England. We are the target archery club for the whole of Bracknell and the surrounding area.

Berkshire Archery Field

Our large outdoor range is used exclusively for archery. Located in countryside near the village of Binfield, the range is quiet, very secluded and offers one of the most beautiful places to practice archery in Berkshire. We have club house and toilet facilities available at the field for the use of all members.    Berkshire Archery lessons

The field is open 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week for club members. Distances up to 90 metres / 100 yards can be shot on the range. During the winter season, we also shoot indoors in a local sports hall.

Membership

If you have never tried archery before but would like to have-a-go, we run a popular beginner's course each Spring. The beginners course is open to anyone over the age of 8-years old and provides an excellent introduction to the sport.

Experienced archers are always welcome to join the Bowmen of Warfield archery club.

If you are already a member of another archery club but also would like to be able to shoot whenever you like at our field - please ask us about our Associate Membership offer.

Beginners Course 2007

The Bowmen of Warfield archery club currently has over 60 full members, who shoot the Recurve, Longbow and Compound styles of archery.

For more information, phone or email us giving a contact home phone number, our details can be found on the contact us page.

As a UK based Archery club, we are affiliated to the:
- Grand National Archery Society
- Southern Counties Archery Society
- Berkshire Archery Association.

The GNAS website is a useful link to find out more about the Olympic sport of archery and to find other archery clubs throughout Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
